Checklist before first practice (tackle only no gear for flag):

After your player has been registered, please bring the following to gear up (dates and times to be emailed):

  • Proof of age ie: BC Services Card (Care Card), Birth Certificate or Passport
  • $300 equipment deposit cheque
  • $100 jersey deposit cheque
  • $100 volunteer cheque
  • Fall football, post date them for December 31, 2021. Make them out to "Greater Victoria Minor Football Assocation"

Greater Victoria Minor Football Association Registration Fees are used for:

  • Officiating
  • Field preparation and rental
  • Replacement and upgrading of practice equipment
  • Shoulder pads, helmets, mouth guards, pants and game Jerseys
  • Training supplies, safety and education
  • Administration supplies

Once fees are paid/discussed at the time of registration and all deposit/bond cheques are received, your player will then be able to receive his/her equipment and take part in the on field activities, but not before. Equipment, jersey and volunteer deposit cheques are held by the club until the end of the season. As long as the volunteer requirements are met and all gear is returned in good clean condition, these bond cheques will be returned to the family or are shredded. Please note - the GVMFA does not want to cash these cheques as we would rather have the volunteer time and have our gear back!

GVMFA welcomes and encourages both male and female players to play at all age group levels.

If your child has any individual needs, contact the team Head Coach and Team Manager so that they can maximize your child's enjoyment and involvement.
